NQCG´s view is that multinational organizations would not be interested in commission based Internal Research and Development (IRAD) relationship brokering assistance from any entity. Rationale: these relationships are built over decades through and can involve a combination of industry, government and academia professionals. IRAD – is a revered resource.

From NQCG´s experience - large companies would only go external with IRAD for a few reasons:

  • All required skill sets are not internally available and business case does not support hiring it.
  • Intellectual Property (IP) for the core enabling technology for the associated business purpose is not held internally.
